👁️ Pre-Exam Guide
Eye Medications, Water & Exercise

Eye Drops: Avoid using 1 hour before testing.

Eye Gels: Avoid using 2–4 hours before testing.

Ointments & Redness Drops: Do not use on the morning of your visit.
-
Water & Exercise: No swimming or tap water in eyes for 24 hours prior; no rigorous exercise 1 hour prior.
Contact Lens Wearers

Standard Lenses: Do not wear lenses the night before or day of your visit.

OrthoK Patients: Bring lenses, case, diary, and Platinum solution.

Lens Teach Consultation: Trim nails, wash hands, and dry with an air dryer or lint-free towel before coming.
Optional & Special Procedures

Dilated Retinal Exam: Takes ~1 hour. Blurry vision & light sensitivity for 2–3 hours—do not drive. Bring sunglasses. Might need transport.

Cycloplegic Refraction: Takes 1.5–2 hours. Blurry vision & light sensitivity for ~24 hours—do not drive. Sunglasses recommended. Might need transport.
General Rules

Restroom: Please use before testing.

Attend Alone: Attend alone unless a decision-maker, translator or care is required.

Please give us 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows have a $59 fee (credited back toward services or eyewear if you visit within 14 days).

👁️ 检查前注意事项
眼药水、水与运动
-
普通眼药水： 检查前 1 小时内请勿使用。医生开的处方眼药水请照常使用。

眼凝胶： 检查前 2–4 小时内请勿使用。
-
眼膏及去红血丝药水： 就诊当天早晨请勿使用。
-
水与运动： 检查前 24 小时内请勿游泳或让自来水入眼；检查前 1 小时内请勿剧烈运动。
隐形眼镜及 OK 镜患者
-
普通隐形眼镜： 检查前一天晚上及当天请勿佩戴。
-
OK 镜患者: 请带齐镜片、镜盒、佩戴记录及 Platinum 护理液。
-
隐形眼镜佩戴教学: 来诊前请修剪并打磨指甲，用洗手液洗净双手，并用烘干机或无尘毛巾擦干。
自选及特殊检查项目
-
散瞳眼底检查： 耗时约 1 小时。检查后视力会模糊且畏光 2–3 小时——切勿驾驶。请佩戴太阳眼镜，可能需要安排接送。

睫状肌麻痹验光（深度散瞳验光）： 耗时 1.5 至 2 小时。检查后视力会模糊且畏光约 24 小时——切勿驾驶。建议佩戴太阳眼镜。
诊所一般规则

洗手间： 检查前请先使用洗手间。
-
单独前 : 请尽量单独前往，除非需要家人决策、翻译或照顾者陪同。
🗓️ 改期与取消

请提前至少 24 小时通知。太晚取消或没来会有 $59 缺席费（14 天内重新就诊可 100% 全额扣抵就诊或配镜费用）。
